

Cancer and COVID-19 in Victoria: Exploring the emotional landscape of healthcare workers

The COVID-19 pandemic has seen healthcare workers face rapid changes to their workplaces and work routines, and for many, a rapid increase in workload.
This webinar will explore the impact of the pandemic on healthcare workers’ wellbeing, including the emotional trajectory they may face in months to come. Monitoring stress in a time of crisis is pivotal to maintaining wellbeing, and reflections on mental health management strategies will be discussed by a panel of experts. Empirical data from local tertiary hospitals about healthcare worker experiences of the pandemic will also be presented.
Moderated by Associate Professor Lesley Stafford, Director of the Centre for Women’s Mental Health at the Royal Women’s Hospital and Professor of Psychiatry, University of Melbourne.
